Privacy Policy
What personal information this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Not yet dated — this document is still in draft.
Who we are
Venture Web Designer is a design and development studio. This policy covers personal information collected through this website.
The registered legal entity, trading address, and — where one is required — the data protection representative or officer for this policy are still to be confirmed. Those details belong in this section before launch.
What we collect
The only personal information this site asks for is what you type into the Start a Project enquiry form. That form collects your name, company, email address, and — optionally — a phone number, alongside your answers about the project itself.
Your answers about the project (what you need, the situation, description, budget range, and timeline) are business information rather than personal information, but they arrive attached to your contact details and are treated with the same care.
- Name
- Company
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Your description of the project, budget range, and timeline
How we use it
Enquiry information is used to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to run the resulting project. It is not used to build a marketing list, and it is not sold or shared for anyone else's marketing.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Lawful basis for processing
Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, responding to an enquiry you sent us is generally handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you, or as steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
The precise bases — and which data protection regime applies, which depends on the entity's location and yours — need to be confirmed as part of the legal review of this document.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, where a project follows, for the life of that engagement and any period afterwards required for business or legal records.
A specific retention period is still to be set and stated here.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form.
To exercise any of these, write to us at the address below. The exact set of rights that applies to you, and any statutory response deadline, is part of the outstanding legal review.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry information is handled by a small number of people who need it in order to reply to you.
No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in a country other than your own. Where that happens and the law requires a safeguard for the transfer, one needs to be in place and identified here — pending the hosting and processor decisions noted above.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Material changes to how we use personal information will be made clear rather than folded quietly into a new revision.
Questions about this policy
Anything about your personal information — including a request to access or delete it — can be sent to us directly.
