Truebase
A commercial leasing platform that takes tenants from search to shortlist to a booked tour.
Truebase lists office, retail and warehouse space for lease. Its site was a grid of listings with an “Enquire Now” button on every card — fine for browsing, poor for choosing. We redesigned it as a guided journey from search to a booked tour, with the tools a business needs to decide on a space.

Before
The Challenge
The audit found five friction points: no way to compare spaces, filters too limited to narrow a search, no shortlist to come back to, lease details scattered across the page, and a generic enquiry form that captured nothing about what the tenant actually needed.

Discovery / Strategy
We reviewed the old search and property detail screens against how businesses actually lease: they look at several spaces, narrow down, compare, involve colleagues and tour. That became a six-step journey — Discover, Filter, Compare, Shortlist, Request Tour, Submit Requirements.

UX Approach
Every step saves progress into the next. Search filters by the terms that matter in leasing — square footage, budget, availability, lease term, move-in date — properties go into workspaces with notes and viewing status, and tour requests arrive with the tenant's requirements attached.

UI / Visual Direction
A very light grey ground and deep navy type, with large architectural photography of the buildings themselves — a calm, professional interface that lets the property lead.

Development
A web platform and mobile experience covering search with card and map views, property detail with floor availability and floor plans, side-by-side comparison, shortlist workspaces, and a tour booking flow with requirements capture.
